Phila PA - 1986: It seems so long ago and so far away, but Linda and I met and were married in Philadelphia in 1986. While I am originally from Southern California, Linda was born and raised in Southwest Philly. I was working as a manager at a McDonalds when Linda got herself a second job working at my McDonalds. Linda's first job was working in the Deli of the local grocery store. Initially, Linda and I weren't sure we liked each other, then one of the other workers there coaxed us into a first date. That was in early February. We were married May 17, 1986.

WORKING AS A ROOFER

Phila, PA - 1986

Bill spent three years working as a roofer. Obviously the work was difficult, but it was the only way he could make a decent amount of money. He finally left roofing and joined the service after realizing he didn't want to be in his forties and still working on the roof.
