WELCOME BABY ANTHONY!

Yorktown VA - September 1998: September 4th, 1998 brought a new member of the family. Little baby Anthony Robert Miller came into the world. He's so cute, but aren't they all? Here Mikey and Anthony lay in Mikey's crib. Everyone was so enthralled when we took him to Linda's mom's house.

CHRISTMAS PARTY A HIT!

Oct 25,1998 - Yorktown, VA:

Four Stromboli, two pounds of pepperoni, a pound of cheese, an entire package of Ritz crackers, four bottles of soda, and three bags of chips were barely enough food for the twenty seven people that showed for Linda’s Christmas Around the World party Saturday night!

From seven until nine o’clock Saturday night, Kathy, the Christmas Around the World demonstrator, showed an assortment of Christmas decorations while the guest snacked and talked. Robert and Alex entertained the four older children that accompanied their mothers. Meanwhile, Mikey made a name for himself by stealing pepperoni and flirting with all the ladies. One guest, Cheri, monopolized Anthony for the entire two and a half hours she was here. While none of the other ladies had a chance to hold Anthony, they all commented on how beautiful he is. Linda hoped the party would provide her a chance to meet new people, and perhaps make friends. She’ll have to wait and see how things turn out; however, the party netted three hundred dollars in orders! Making it a success for the demonstrator! Linda is beginning plans for her next bash!

MERRY CHRISTMAS 1998

Philadelphia - December 1998 The whole family went to Philadelphia near the holidays to visit with all of Linda's family. In this picture, Linda, Mikey, and Anthony visit with Great-Grandma Mary "Dean." Everyone loved baby Anthony.

We exchanged gifts, and then headed home around 4pm on the Tuesday, the 22nd. Normally the trip lasts around six or seven hours, with all the stops, this time we didin't get home until 6am, Wednesday morning!

Everyone gets ready for Mikey's birthday, Dec 19, 1998

MIKEY TURNS TWO!

Philadelphia, PA - December 1998:

Mikey had his second birthday at grandma's house. The entire family came over and had a blast. Mikey likes being the center of attention, who doesn't? See more pictures of Mikey's party on Mikey's page.

CAUGHT IN THE STORM

Philadelphia to Hampton - December 1998: We were caught in the great sleet storm of '98! We spent an hour on Interstate 95 going only 25mph! Later we pulled into a small town outside of Washington DC to get some gas, and cars were sliding all over the place! There were several hills leading to and from the interstate. As we watched, dozens of people tried to drive their cars and trucks up these small hills, but to no avail. We finally left that small town by driving to the next town. Luckily they didn't have as many hills!

Well, we thought we were in the clear after those trials; unfortunately, when we got down to the I264 to I64 interechange, we had to drive through falling tree limbs. It was very late, around 4am, the ice and sleet collecting on the tree branches was breaking the branches off the trees! Several times we had to swerve to miss a fallen limb that I didn't see until it was almost under us!

ALL THE GUYS VISIT CHUCK E. CHEESE!

Hampton - September 18, 1998: Mom and her new baby relaxed at home, while Daddy and the boys spent a fun-filled evening running around the local Chuck E. Cheese restaurant. We had a great time; unfortunately, Alexander lost his good watch.
