GROWING LIKE A WEED

Oct 25, 1998 - Langley AFB: Twelve pounds four ounces and twenty-three inches! Anthony gained two pounds and more than two inches in one month! At his one month well baby check-up the doctors commented everything looks good. His growth is above average.

Mom writes - Nov 1998: Anthony is a little fatty at 13 lbs., and cuter than ever. Bill attached some things to his chair and he’s starting to reach out and hit them. He also coos and laughs when he looks at them, he gets so exited. He’s so alert now and he likes to be talked to and played with, he smiles so big and coos it’s so adorable you just want to eat him up. Lately he’s been getting a lot of gas pain, it’s sad to see him in pain, I feel so bad. I do my gas maintenance and he usually feels better. Unfortunately Bill can’t do what I do and by the time I get home from work he really needs help. So I haven’t been getting to bed early for a while now. He’s still not as bad as Mikey was, he used to scream for what seemed like forever every night and it was really difficult to console him. I hope this isn’t developing into that. One of the reasons for his gas is that Bill has a hard time getting him to burp, so it turns into gas. Also when he drinks a bottle he drinks faster and gets more air. He does that on the breast too sometimes, he’s a vigorous eater, I guess that’s why he’s such a fatty.
